I woke up at 6:00am this morning.. and do you know why? Well of course to watch MAOU. My god. I was completely and utterly blown away by Ohno and Toma's superb acting skills. I didn't know such small grins and what not could be so terrifying. Aside from the drama, I was also eagerly looking forward to listening to the theme song "Truth" and I must say, it seems to fit the drama very well.
The few lines of Ohno in the song "I'll take your life forever, you take my life forever" oh dear... like wow, they fit the drama so well. I really can't wait to hear the full version and get the lyrics. At first I was hesitant about such a up-beat song for such a dark drama, but it was probably stupid of me to have doubts. I should've been sure that ARASHI would create another top-notch song, especially for this very special drama. (Riida's #1 leading role and first drama)
I feel sad that I will be leaving for Hong Kong for three weeks but the bright thing is, by then, 3 more episodes will be out and hopefully at least 3 of the 4 episodes will be subbed. I'm really curious as to what Ohno says to people, I'm especially curious as to what Ohno said to Nino when the latter was pinning him against the wall under the tunnel. I thought it was strange, how fired up Nino was and then Ohno says something and then suddenly Nino's character just walks away. Obviously whatever Ohno said must've been pretty powerful... or maybe I'm just reading this drama to deeply.
Ohno plays his character extremely well, he pulls the looks of perfectly and you can really see the difference from his real face, to the fake one he shows to people. His expressions... executed beautifully. Toma's acting is superb as well. His character seems to fit the role of Naota. A funny thing I thought up while watching Toma yelling his lungs out was... he reminds me of Jun (Domyouji to be exact). Why? Running across Tokyo... yelling his heart out... and there you have it, doesn't it remind you of Jun? xD
Anyways... why I said "drama(s)" is because I recently watched the 1st, 10th and 11th episode of 1 Litre of Tears starring NewS and Kanjani8 member Nishikido Ryo.
...Why did I skip from the 1st to the last episode, cause honestly I'm not interested in these types of dramas and after watching the first episode I knew that I wouldn't make it to the last episode so to save myself the pain of having to go through the episodes in between I just decided to skip until the end... after all the end is the most dramatic.
I never cry much... for anything. Like it takes a lot for me to get a tear to slide down my face. My eyes may tear up but most of the time the tears never fall... oh boy, the last two episodes... I was so shocked when a waterfall started pouring out of my eyes and by the last episode I was sobbing so hard. I should have expected this though, I mean the title of this drama IS "One Litre of Tears" but ... I didn't think it'd affect me to much. Just judging from the 1st and last few episodes I can tell this drama is very good, but as I said it's not my type.
=P - I'd reccomend for people to watch it though, but honestly, hold a bucket of tissues cause you'll be pouring out a waterfall.
