New Years etc.

Hello. It's been a while hasn't it? I'm still amazed that I actually get page views despite the fact that I never update, and when I do it's nothing really important either. But whoever does decide to come look at my blog, thank you? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding how the whole "page view" thing works? ^^;; Oh well. I'm just happy seeing such a large number.

ANYWAY - way off topic.

So. New Years was a while back yeah? Two weeks ago? Yes I did watch Kouhaku and it was entertaining but truthfully I didn't watch all of it. In short, considering it was the first time and Kouhaku is a MAJOR show and they must have been HELLA nervous, I think they did a marvelous job and I'm very proud of them. If there were any flaws, I felt that there should have been more Matsushita Nao x Arashi discussion because sometimes it felt like she was left out - but I understand why that happened. Writing a script and giving each person an equal number of lines would obviously mean that she would get less lines, but still. Sometimes it was just awkward. But of course this isn't Arashi's fault, so oh well.

In the end my most favourite year end music show was MSSL2010. I nearly cried watching that. Have I mentioned that already? Well anyway, it's the show that reminded me of my time in Japan the most. And I really love that, the nostalgic feeling, the fact that I recognize all the songs and what not. Makes me sad too, but I love it anyway.

Next - Arashi promoting the 3Ds is terrible for me because I want it so bad. I mean the actual commercials wih Arashi are kind of lame (if I didn't know Arashi and i saw that on TV in Canada I'd be like 'wtf?') but the actual DS is SO COOL. And seeing Arashi with one just makes me think "WANT". Such fail. I"m not gonna get it though, not until it a) comes out in Canada and b) has been out for long enough that there are more games and it's more reliable.

Onto Movies - excited for Nino going to Hollywood again. That's my boy ;) Too bad i don't live in America, why does Japan always forget Canada? Sigh. We're such a forgotten country. I'd kill to go see the movie, dubbed or not, but maybe it'll come out in DVD here instead? Or something? Come on... please...? And then of course the latest news about Kaibutsu-kun! That is seriously awesome. I don't really care about 3D movies but Ohno just being in a movie. Kaibutsu-kun or not is awesome. I'm happy for him, hope he doesn't tire himself to much.

Onto Dramas. I kind of admit.. I don't think I'm going to watch Bartender. It just doesn't look like my kind of drama to watch. Love Arashi and all but ^^;; I'm still picky about my dramas okay? So instead I will watch Mother (which a lot of people have been talking about) and Keizoku 2: SPEC. Both apparently very underrated dramas? They seem interesting though, so I'm looking forward to watching them. I just finished watching Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo which was interesting to watch while doing homework (cause I didn't really need to pay attention). It was amusing and I admittingly did learn some interesting facts, all in all it's just amusing. Brainless humor. Not the best drama, not the worst. *shrug* You know.

eh.. what else? I guess that is it?

oh... I may or may not start translating random Arashi songs. I'm not sure if I'm gonna post them here. I started posting them up at my tumblr. The thing is my tumblr has morphed into some random blog that I just throw all my.... random "garbage thoughts" in. I like putting my song translations there though, but... hmm.. I dunno. Should I move them here too *contemplating*

all I've done is Arashi's Futari no Kinenbi and V6's Only Dreaming and a snippet of Snowflake though. ^^;; Maybe when I've done more?

NTV Best Artist - aka - More Jun-Hair flailing

omgosh. Jun. His hair. Normally when i watch performances i tend to look at all the members. I like to see if they dance in-sync or not, and what each member is doing, but this time? I just couldn't stop staring at Jun. My eyes were just glued to the guy. I don't know. He just looks so... *sigh*... 

His hair makes him look so boyish and young but really handsome and manly and just downright COOL and friggen HOT. Like, I dont' know why, but for some reason I just started wondering what he would look like shirtless. I NEVER picture Jun shirtless because truthfully? I don't really like the guy shirtless -_-;; But for some reason, short hair seems to make it seem like if he takes off his shirt he'll be really buff. Dont' ask. (I don't mean like Sho, but he won't be a stick anyway). haha. Don't ask how my mind works.

Not but seriously. Jun's hair. oh my god. *hugs him*. 

and yeah. Onto best artist... seeing Monster being performed is always awesome. <3 But Happiness? Kind of random. Believe, not so random but yeah, Happiness was random. And odd. and I kind of didn't like it. I guess they needed a fast song though - wait.. why didn't they just do STORY or some other equally awesome song? *pouts*. I wanna see them perform STORY damn it! And their costumes were alright. Although Sho's pants look like they were painted on his legs -_-;; and everyone else.. .um.. ooh, Ohno was really cool in monster. Kind of didn't pay attention to Nino and Aiba (I"M SORRY). Ironically Nino is my second favourite, so this has nothing to do with biases but for the life of me I just kept staring at Jun. 

I think I finally understand this whole "omg he's so hot *stare*giggle* thing that girls do. Before I never understood. Like how can a guy be THAT good looking, but DAMN. Okay - i get it. I finally get it. *re-watches performance*. Jun is just damn fine. Omygod. I can't wait to see him when he's just wearing like suits and stuff on Himitsu and on VS Arashi. *squeals* BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!

haven't seen the entire show yet so can't say anything about the other guests. Will do so later when I have time~ 

Arashi on M-Sta

This isn't so much as a "news" post so much as a flail post xD

Arashi's going on M-Sta for the 1000th episode special, but that's not the good part. The good part is they're performing Troublemaker AND Yursae, ima wo =D=D Yay!

but I don't know if I'll be able to watch it. M-Sta is on Fridays at 8pm and I have to study until 9:40pm... ugh. so trouble some

FNS 2009

I did manage to catch the later half of it. That means I managed to catch Arashi's performance of Ashita no Kioku and DBSK's performance of some songs I don't know cause I don't listen to DBSK xD

I missed their first perf. but ah well.

I'd just like to say they all looked gorgeous in their silver suits. ^^

The performance.. so... good. Dancing. Oh my god. *dies* Like... okay, Truth perf. was nice but THIS performance was like "ASDFJMGFDFD!!!" No joke. It just made me like the song THAT much more...... (which means I'm LOVING the song *laughs*

And they all looked so good...

BUT even after all that hot... hot.. H- *cough**ahem* - even after all the nice dancing, I'm still missing the really happy cracky songs. T_T

V6 Performances

Hope I'm not spamming anyone up (-_-'')

but... can I just say... I love it when V6 does performances. I mean, all of them can do like.. acrobatics/gymnastics which makes their dances so much more interesting and they're in sync like... to the dot (as far as I can tell) and no one ever seems to go way off tune.... and.. you know what they're just plain good at live performances.

Looks like I'm going to go on a concert downloading spree soon xD

VS Arashi #33 + Arashi @ FNS

So.. last week (I know I'm so late xD) Tegoshi Yuya from ever-so-popular NewS came onto VS Arashi with some other guy who wasn't really all that important but was apparently 40 years old. Eh.. it was pretty funny ^_^

First of all we have some classic - "Let's make fun of MatsuJun time =D" But.. everyone knows that Arashi's little Hime doesn't like being made fun of and yay! They got a new game! It seems pretty hard too (and tiring) but Aiba and Jun looked so cool jumping in the air and throwing balls. Bit worried for Aiba though.. when he started coughing I got a bit nervous, but Nino came and quickly picked him up! Ah..  Nino's is so worried for him I bet xD

I couldn't take screenshots of the game cause they were moving to fast.. (-_-'')

Anyways, Rolling Coin Tower, Ohno volunteered himself xD It was really funny and then of course Jun would go as well because he totally loves Ohno to bits =P

In the Falling Pipe Catch, Aiba lied about being good friends with Tegoshi xD
And Sho was so mean to his kouhai (>_<) He chose the two pipes behind Tegoshi's back while asking him to do the "Tegoshi desu~!" thing (see NewS on Domoto Kyoudai to find out what it is). Jun scolded him for that =P
Ohno was really cute when he was choosing the pipes too, wanted to pinch his cheeks. But he's so tan o_o.

And I saw Arashi's performance of One Love on FNS. As much as MatsuJun is my most favourite member of Arashi... I really wish they did Truth instead. I mean, it's just overall, a much better song. And I'm gonna sound horrible but.. *sigh* MatsuJun.. singing... I nearly ripped my earphones out of my ears. I mean, he went REALLY off tune, normally if it's just a bit I don't mind but.. it was pretty off. >_<

But he looked pretty cute xD With the hat ^_^ Can't wait for Arashi's next performance on Heyx3 and MSSL and especially the Johnny's Countdown!!!!

Music Lovers

I watched the Music Lovers performance with Arashi thanks to the clips on Tenjo Style's vox. ^_^

I have to admit those fans who got to attend were pretty lucky, it was seriously like a mini-concert that ARASHI held with only 5 songs.

The songs by the way were

-Oh Yeah!
-A Day in our Life
-Love so Sweet
-Kaze no Mukou e
-One Love

although the One Love performance was cut and they just played the song while showing some other videos apparently.

Everyone looked really nice, although I was mostly only paying attention to MatsuJun xD My god there was a moment when the members walked into the crowd (not literally there was probably a walkway or something) and the fans were all like reaching out to touch them xD Lucky lucky girls... I would love to have a grab at Jun =P *cough*cough*

I watched the talk portion.. laughed so hard xD Members complaining about MatsuJun's huge ass rings and then complaining about Sho's fake jeans. (Sho's thing is totally hilarious... you'd expect an idol to wear something more cool but no, he wears fake jeans that are actually sweat pants).

Arashi + This Week = AWESOME

How can I start off? This week has been filled with some awesome Arashi stuff so far. First there is their appearance on Utaban which was HILARIOUS. My god... I've never laughed so hard at watermelons and waterguns before xD It was really sweet, they celebrated Nakai's birthday... although... *snickers* I'll leave it to you to figure out what happened =P.

Next off, of course we have... *drumroll* the "Truth" and "Kaze no Mukou E" PV's that came out.

FIRST - The "Truth" PV... oh my god.... I nearly died in a puddle of my own goop after seeing this PV. It's so god damn hot, I am sure you've all already seen it but I need to flail about it at the moment. I've seriously replayed the PV so many times over and over and over again it's not even funny xD. One thing that SERIOUSLY got me in this ENTIRE PV... MatsuJun's random KICK. I was like... "dude... wtf?!" and laughed my ass off for the longest time wondering what the point of it was. But I have to admit, he has one NICE kick. Hahaha. =P

Next I'm gonna talk about the "Kaze no Mukou E" PV to. I find it hilarious... it's a COMPLETE 180 degree turn from the "Truth" PV. It's all light, and happy... but there's no real dancing, but I still love it a lot. We get beautiful shots of Sho's arms and.. in general they just all look so hot xD *obviously I cannot produce a straight thought*. One thing though... if you think it looks like a "backstreet boys" PV - I seriously don't blame ya. =P

I don't really have as much to say, although... what MatsuJun was wearing, it looked retarded but surprisingly it fit him very well =P Haha. That's MatsuJun for you, looks good in anything.

Obviously.. you can tell I liked how they looked in Kaze no Mukou E more... haha nah, I'm just kidding. I thought they looked awesome in both but the pictures that came out for Kaze no Mukou E just look better than the ones for Truth.

Back from HK

Mah.... well I'm back from Hong Kong.

It was quite fun spending a month their I must say (although I was a bit stressed from being slightly Arashi deprived). I have come back with many videos to download and watch. Maou being a major one, there are 4 subbed episodes released (soon to be 5) and I can't wait to start watching =D

Then of course I am feeling excited for Jun's upcoming birthday and the 24HR TV program on NTV that will be on the 30th/31st of August. (as well as Jun's birthday)

I'm very excited to watch Jun's new drama SP (Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru yo) and am SOOO happy to learn that Nino is going to be doing a new drama to... with Nishikido Ryo!! (who I do like quite a bit ^_^) called "Ryuusei no Kizuna" for those who had not heard the news yet.

I did lots of shopping while in Hong Kong, one of my main things to get were... go figure... ARASHI STUFF!! And I succeeded in mostly getting what I wanted. I bought the Time Concert, AAA+In Dome Concert, Dream "A" Live limited edition and I was looking for the Time Limited Edition but I only found the regular. *sigh*. Ah well, I can't be picky and I should be lucky to find SOMETHING. By the way, the packaging for the AAA+in Dome Concert is INCREDIBALLY nice in my opinion. ^_^ I'm very happy. Was thinking about buying HanaDan to but I went against it. I'm an incredibally stingy person... haha... sadly.
