Jin, News... ok, WTF?

If you're a KAT-TUN, NewS or Akanishi Jin fan, I suggest you stop reading. Or you can continue to read, disagree with me, and... do whatever you want after =D Cause damn, I am one HARSH person.

Call me slow, but I just heard and read lyrics for Jin's LoveJuice and I'm just LOL-ing so hard right now. Yeah, go to America, learn english and than sing a song that's virtually all about sex. LOVEJUICE? Dude, what the hell man -_-'' I mean obviously some girls like this song and stuff but it's just.. not my slice of pie you know? Sure, the fact that he sang in English is admirable but aside from that I'm just thinking "dude.. no.. just.. no, go sing your little KAT-TUN songs all in Japanese, I already hate english singers singing about sex, I don't need a Japanese singer (Especially a johnny's doing it too). >_<'' It's all just a turn-off for me, everything, just everything. I mean, I probably would've liked the song better if he sang about purple hippos or something like that.

now. for NewS - Koi no ABO. The PV? That is some serious wtf-ery right there.

Okay, first a song about blood types? Um. no. (^^'') I know, Japanese and their obsession with blood types and stuff but we don't need a song about it (at least not such a bad song... ) and then the entire PV is just.. oh my god. What the hell are they trying to do? Disco? And incredibly OUT OF SYNC disco while they're at it. Normally I'm quite lenient with out of sync dancing, but watching them stand in a line and "dance" was just.. like.. oh my god. I can't even describe my horror.

Yamapi's hair continues to scare the hell out of me and I really wish he'd just straighten everything and get his Akira-hair back. =D Shige also needs a new haircut. Massu doesn't need a hair-cut, he needs to grow his hair.

I don't think I finished the entire PV.... but still, the entire time I was like "dear god what are you guys doing?" and they didn't even dance that much. I mean the only "dancing" they did was that again-OUT OF SYNC-disco which proceeded to just baffle my mind. I wonder what NewS is trying to pull with this PV. >_<

and that is my procrastination post for the day. I am fully prepared for any hate random NewS (or Jin) fans may have against me, go ahead and make your comments =D and if you haven't realized, yes I obviously do not have a life if I am making a post like this. ^^

Not necessarily "Arashi" related but definitely "JE" related.
I've never liked a KAT-TUN song after listening to it once.
but I end up hearing KAT-TUN songs often... (for some odd reason o_o)
so, I end up liking them eventually...

but...
It sort of surprised me when I heard "RESCUE" and instantly liked it.
(notice how I use 'like' instead of 'love' xD)
even if I did have a good laugh at their Engrish
I can't help but say..
this is a very good song. ^^

I guess they realized KAT-TUN can't dance together so they decided to stick them with random gangsters and strippers alone so they don't look so bad *giggles* - I'm sorry, was that too mean? I'm not saying their dancing is bad, I'm just saying they can't dance in sync. Alone, they're quite good... I guess. I don't dance so *shrugs*

aside from that um. Yeah.

Oh and you know the part where it says "I'm running" or something? Totally sounds like it says "laddi da di da" or something o_o *dies laughing again*

I don't know.. it was just... it's better than their One Drop PV IMO,  I mean, their dancing in that was like >_< and then they sit in Limo's and it's like "uh.. k" but this ain't so bad, entertaining enough.. until it gets to the "running" part and then I get bored.

V6 Performances

Hope I'm not spamming anyone up (-_-'')

but... can I just say... I love it when V6 does performances. I mean, all of them can do like.. acrobatics/gymnastics which makes their dances so much more interesting and they're in sync like... to the dot (as far as I can tell) and no one ever seems to go way off tune.... and.. you know what they're just plain good at live performances.

Looks like I'm going to go on a concert downloading spree soon xD

[The Fandom Chronicles #4] NewS vs KAT-TUN?

I don't like KAT-TUN as a group. I don't know why, I'm just... biased like that I guess (^^'') and NewS is like.. you know, I don't have much opinion over them. I don't hate them, I like about 1/2 the members... but.. something I found odd.

I like KAT-TUN music  a lot more than NewS (no offense, their music isn't that great... )

Strange how things work out that way huh?

In fact, I guess you can't even say I like NewS music... I mean.. the one song I've ever listened on repeat with NewS is probably their debut song ~Kibou~Yell but, that doesn't count cause I have some... thing with debut songs. Like, I will always like them. But.. any other songs is just sort of like "eh... it's nice" when it starts playing but.. after it stops I won't have the urge to listen to it again.

KAT-TUN though, as long as I don't watch ANY PV's whatsoever, I will like that song. A lot. If you make me watch a PV though I will hate the song... but in general, I find, KAT-TUN songs really good. Well.. only the ones I have downloaded anyways (which is only their singles).

Am I weird? I don't know, it seems strange to me. That I like KAT-TUN music a lot and yet don't like the actual group and then .. I "like" the group NewS and don't really like their music. (again, NewS is a really... touchy subject cause I don't watch any of their videos or follow them at all but if you give me a vote, I will pick them over KT o_o)

but overall, KinKi Kids will always reign supreme... followed by Arashi and TOKIO ^^ 

The Fandom Chronicles #1 - Senpai vs Kouhai?

There are times when I start contemplating random things about Arashi like the members personalities or why I like them so much more than any other group and sometimes I really just want to write these thoughts down because they're interesting and I want to remember them. I will label these "thoughts" the Fandom Chronicles because they won't be limited to just Arashi but my overall interest in the "Johnny's Entertainment Fandom"

So. Senpai groups VS Kouhai groups

Finally after about a year of being into Arashi, I, like many others, have of course gotten into other Johnny’s Entertainment groups as well. What I’ve noticed about me and other fangirl’s though, is that while other fangirl’s fall in love with NewS and KATTUN I have for some odd reason flown over to the Senpai groups instead. These Senpai groups are of course, TOKIO, V6, and Kinki Kids.

So, I wonder, why did I lean towards the Senpai groups, the older groups when I am so incredibly young? You’d think it’s more sensible that a younger fandom member like me would lean towards the youngest of the group of boys but instead I lean towards the older.

Is it strange…? I wonder.

What is even stranger is the fact that I cannot get into the Kouhai groups at all, and it makes me think. Is there something different between the Senpai and Kouhai groups that make the big difference? Or is it something else?

Johnny’s Countdown is like, the video for me to pick up other groups. I heard Garasu no Shounen from Kinki Kids and fell in love with them immediately, downloading their entire discography in one go. I heard Sorafune from TOKIO and downloaded their entire discography in one go. I fell in love with Way of Life from V6 and downloaded their entire discography right away. Then I heard KATTUN’s White X’mas and I love this song so much… but I don’t download KATTUN’s entire discography. I don’t get ever single album/single of theirs. All I do is get that one song and that’s it.

For NewS, ~Kibou~Yell! Is a wonderful song. I love it so much. I only download that one song and I stop there. I do not go onto Jpopsuki and search out every single album/single I’m missing; I just stop at that one song. So I wonder, what I the difference? What makes me download entire discographies in one go and what stops me?

Is it the music that is better? No, it can’t be. I mean, I’ve listened to White X’mas just as much as Way of Life and I’m telling you, I love both songs so much it’s a bit scary.

The only conclusion that I could come up with was that maybe it was because the Senpai groups were closer. Then I realized that idea was completely off because I didn’t know a thing about Kinki Kids, or TOKIO or V6 when I downloaded their discographies. Even now, I know more about NewS and KATTUN than the Senpai groups yet I show no interest in them. Kame, Jin, Yamapi, I’m sorry, not interested in them at all.

I’m thinking it’s because the Senpai groups aren’t as big of competition when it comes to other fangirls. What do I mean? I mean, the NewS and KATTUN fandom are large and you see the fangirls everywhere but you don’t see Kinki Kids or TOKIO or V6 fangirls everywhere now do you? Or not as much anyways. Not me anyways. Even if they are largely popular (especially Kinki Kids) you rarely see their fans, of if someone is a V6 fan it is only on the side. On the main they are a NewS or KATTUN fan and then maybe even an Arashi fan.

But.

It’s still a bit strange isn’t it? I mean, I fall in love with a song of theirs and then I’m not interested in any other.

When I fell in love with Arashi I also only fell in love with one song. Love so Sweet and downloaded their entire discography, but then, I didn’t even know what Johnny’s Entertainment was. Hell, I didn’t even like music that much then. But I still did it, I still downloaded their entire discography.

So what is stopping me with the Kouhai groups? Or at least... the groups younger than Arashi.

It really bugs me in a way because I sort of… want to get into them, but I also cannot. I can’t really explain, like, I want to like NewS, I want to like KATTUN but I just naturally don’t seem to like them.

Oh and my reason for not mentioning Tackey and Tsubasa? I was into them for about a day but they’re not really high priority. Why do I not mention K8? Because I straight out just don’t like this group of guys (with the exception of Ryo), they piss me off to no end. Why do I not mention HSJ? You’d think I would like these guys, after all, they are definitely a lot closer to my age range but … it feels awkward. They seem a bit to young for me to be idolizing them. I don’t idolize people in my own age range, I find it awkward. It’s like salivating over someone in my own high school, not cool.

NewS and KATTUN are in the same age range as Arashi though, so you’d think I’d enjoy them, after all their music isn’t half bad. (Not that I’ve given much of a music a try…) but that’s the point! I’m not interested in giving their music a try even if I fall in love with one of their songs. I mean. I love White X’mas a lot more than any Arashi, Kinki Kids or TOKIO song at the moment but I’m not spazzing about KATTUN, I’m still very apathetic towards them. It’s almost like a “oh, they’re okay” and then I drop them off the cliff.

NewS is even stranger. I like half the members of NewS. Yamapi, Ryo and Massu. I like these guys, you’d think if I like 3 members of a band that I’d give a try and listen to their music but no. That obviously does not happen.

So it’s strange.

I really wonder if there is a difference between the Senpai and Kouhai groups that makes me lean towards one end than the other.

[Drama Review] Tiger and Dragon

Well.. Originally I thought this blog would only be for fangirling Arashi - but I guess not. =P I'm currently watching Tiger and Dragon starring Okada Junichi and Nagase Tomoya from V6/TOKIO respectively and I'm seriously loving it so much. The scriptwriter is Kudo Kankero-san (same as the one for RnK) so maybe there is a pattern? Anyways, Review... start-o! (Will update as I finish each Episode ^_^)

Oh for the characters... I only listed the ones I actually had stuff to stay about xD Really the main characters are only Tora, Ryu and probably Shishou

Characters:

Toraji/Kotora/Tora (Nagase Tomoya): The first drama I've seen with Nagase and I'm seriously loving him to bits. He is so perfect for the role of Tora, it's like the character was written for him. When I watch, I don't even see him as "Nagase" the guy from TOKIO but I actually see him as just... Tora. I love Tora, he's just so... funny xD Nagase plays a pretty bad-ass character.

Ryuji (Okada Junichi): I tried watching Kisarazu Cats Eye but honestly.. I wasn't all that interested in it. (Blasphemy for an Arashi-fan ne?) but I did enjoy Okada's acting in it so I was always semi-interested in him. Watching Tiger and Dragon.. i love Okada. He is just... so funny =P He plays Ryuji so well. Ryuji as a character... he's.. pretty deep but he is so funny. I love scenes with Ryuji and Megumi cause it's just so funny. Also, who can forget Ryuji's weird.. fashion... (o_o;;)

Shishou (Nishida Toshiyuki): Shishou! I forgot his actual name cause Tora always calls him Shishou but I really like this guy. I don't actually know the actor but... I think he plays the character very well. I don't know why I like him so much, but.. he's sort of like an ideal sort of weird grandfather ne? (I know I'm weird xD) But his scenes with Tora are pretty funny/interesting and overall he is quite an interesting character, in a more funny aspect.

Megumi (Ito Masaki): Normally I hate characters like these. The ditzy sort of kind, but I don't know. I like Megumi a lot. She's just hilarious, how she's so self-absorbed. It's probably because of the actor. She plays Megumi as a ditz so well it's almost endearing in a way. The way she treats Ryuji. Sometimes though she can say the deepest stuff and then in seconds it's like.. back to being the idiot. I just find scenes with her interesting and always entertaining.

Chibi T/Takeshi (Kiritani Kenta): Okay, seriously when I saw this guy I screamed cause I was like "YES TAKAYAMA!!" Kiritani Kenta does comedy so well in my opinion. You see him very little but just the fact that he appears on the screen makes me grin like an idiot xD I have to admit though, Kenta doesn't look half bad as Takeshi. He's a very side-character but I couldn't not mention the infamous actor for Takayama of RnK desho?

Ta-Chan (Omi Toshinori): In RnK this guy is George-san! I really like this guy on both dramas. As Ta-chan he's funny, and you see him more than George-san but he's still interesting. You actually see him each episode and he is just amusing. Again, he was just one of the people I had to mention because of his link with RnK

Plot/Story:
Eh... it's sort of hard to explain the episodes of Tiger and Dragon but I'll try my best (-_-'')

Special (Sanmai Kisho): You HAVE to watch the special first to understand the story. This special takes place before the actual events of the drama and explains rakugo and shows us how all these characters met and why they're all part of this story. It's amusing and you really get to see how the drama works as this special. If you don't see this special first, I assure you, you will be confused as hell. Basically it's an introduction to Tora, how he meets Shishou and why he starts Rakugo as well as Tora's first retelling of a the story "Sanmai Kisho" (The Three Vows), or in Tora's case "The Five Vows". Best Lines - "Yakuza with the big dick" and "OMAE NO KAA-CHAN!!!"

Episode One (Shibahama): It's... quite a forgettable episode in my opinion, but it's not because it's boring, it's more because it's just.. an introduction. But even so, as you watch it is quite interesting. It basically re-introduces you to each character and Tora retells his first actual Rakugo story, like.. officially which is "Shibahama" (The Beach). Aside from that.. there's... not much to say.

Episode Two (Manju Kowai): This episode centers around Donta (Ryuji's elder brother) and is mostly about him. You learn more about him, his work (as a horrible comedian) and what-not. I think I should say here that each episode is pretty... episodic as in they do not link together. This episode was a bit weird, especially Tora's re-telling. You'll understand when you see but the shrieking girl at the end going "I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!" really got on my nerves... (-_-;;)

Episode Three (Cha no Yu): This story centers around Okada's character Ryuji and you really learn a lot more about Ryuji, such as his personality and how he feels about his work and what not. What I thought best about this episode was the end where Tora threatens... the famous designer guy, or more like "teaches him a lesson" for playing Ryu around and it was sort of sweet because it was like... "aww.. Tora really cares" and it sort of shows how great of friends they've become.

Episode Four (Gonsuke Chochin): This episode centers around Shishou and the Yakuza boss (whom I forgot the name off). In the SP you learn that Shishou has a debt with the Yakuza boss (who is his golfing partner) but you are never really told in detail why they have such a relationship and in this episode you learn they were high school friends and it just goes into more detail on their past - and of course - their present.

Episode Five (Umaya Kaji): This episode... is about a comedy duo from Kansai. And.. it was a bit confusing at first. It's... sort of hard to explain this episode. Um. This comedic duo (which is family friends of shishou or something) are having problems .. and the rakugo story explains how to make sure the husband loves his wife. As I said, hard to explain. I tried... really. Oh but the husband is (I think) Katsuragi from Kurosagi.

Episode Six (Akegarasu): This episode is about Hayashiyatei Donkichi, a (I'm assuming) 40-year-old Virgin (LOL) and centers are the Rakugo family-members trying ot get him a girl. It's really sweet and guess what? The girl that Donkishi meets, she's from Kurosagi. I think she's that money-rubbing woman if I remember correctly. Creepy (o_o;;) Oh I think she's in RnK to, the first lady that cons Shizuna? But I'm not so sure =P (Got off topic) But really that's the episode in a nut-shell. Oh. And Tora tries to make Ginjiro (Yakuza boss's son) independant. Could this be a important plot-point for the future?

Yamapi on VS Arashi!!

I may not be a NewS or Yamapi fan but this news is till exciting!
Another NewS member going onto VS Arashi!! (^_^)

I'm very excited, I wonder how well Yamapi get's along with the Arashi members =P
It will probably be really funny/interesting like when Tegoshi was on!

VS Arashi #33 + Arashi @ FNS

So.. last week (I know I'm so late xD) Tegoshi Yuya from ever-so-popular NewS came onto VS Arashi with some other guy who wasn't really all that important but was apparently 40 years old. Eh.. it was pretty funny ^_^

First of all we have some classic - "Let's make fun of MatsuJun time =D" But.. everyone knows that Arashi's little Hime doesn't like being made fun of and yay! They got a new game! It seems pretty hard too (and tiring) but Aiba and Jun looked so cool jumping in the air and throwing balls. Bit worried for Aiba though.. when he started coughing I got a bit nervous, but Nino came and quickly picked him up! Ah..  Nino's is so worried for him I bet xD

I couldn't take screenshots of the game cause they were moving to fast.. (-_-'')

Anyways, Rolling Coin Tower, Ohno volunteered himself xD It was really funny and then of course Jun would go as well because he totally loves Ohno to bits =P

In the Falling Pipe Catch, Aiba lied about being good friends with Tegoshi xD
And Sho was so mean to his kouhai (>_<) He chose the two pipes behind Tegoshi's back while asking him to do the "Tegoshi desu~!" thing (see NewS on Domoto Kyoudai to find out what it is). Jun scolded him for that =P
Ohno was really cute when he was choosing the pipes too, wanted to pinch his cheeks. But he's so tan o_o.

And I saw Arashi's performance of One Love on FNS. As much as MatsuJun is my most favourite member of Arashi... I really wish they did Truth instead. I mean, it's just overall, a much better song. And I'm gonna sound horrible but.. *sigh* MatsuJun.. singing... I nearly ripped my earphones out of my ears. I mean, he went REALLY off tune, normally if it's just a bit I don't mind but.. it was pretty off. >_<

But he looked pretty cute xD With the hat ^_^ Can't wait for Arashi's next performance on Heyx3 and MSSL and especially the Johnny's Countdown!!!!
